im so very pissed off when ever i see a ciel cosplay.

last year i lost hundreds of dollars by "trading" my queen beryl costume with wig and my white mage costume.

i never got the dress and wig of ciel's nor did i get the rika dress i was promised. i still have her address and really want to do something but i know the most i could possibly do is send an upset letter that will get tossed in the trash with no response... which would just waste more of my money in a futile attempt.

this my friends is why i dont do non-in-person-trades. im so sad that my hard work and money is gone forever and i have nothing to show for it.

i'll probly never cosplay beryl again because it would be too heart wrenching too think of my beloved costume that was stolen from me as i spend weeks working on a new version.

i dont want a bunch of letters saying im sorry this sucks, i really just want you guys to be warned that not all cosplayers are nice trusting people.

most are, just not all.

Very sorry about that. To be honest I've thought about getting items custom made, to help support other cosplayers, but I realize, what if I don't get what I want? I'd still like to but I'll make sure I know them. I'm very sorry that happened to you, I know you aren't fishing for sympathy or anything, but that REALLY SUCKS. :( :(

thanks n.n

i've only commisioned one wig from someone (mywendy designs) and they were wonderfull so if you ever have the money to work with them do it! n.n

i also comissioned from a friend, you really want someone that will send you updates, so you can keep up with it and know they are doing what you want.

when i did commisions i was in constant contact with the commissionee making sure they liked it n.n

That's why I never consider trades online in the first place. xD Many people have many faces plus they have many factors that I consider them as a "stranger." No matter how nice they seem to appear, people are pretty tricky nowadays. That's why I rather sell my cosplays instead of trading unless they are willing to trade in person and allow me to inspect their items. But damn, I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. Is there a way you can report the person for "stealing" it since you have their address and possibly a history conversations with that person?
